Players Competing from Different Tees

Two or more players competing together as a team in an MGA event are partners. Each player shall play from the teeing area selected by the player at the beginning of the season even if the partners teeing areas are not the same.  Scramble, shamble and alternate shot formatted events are the exceptions, in that all team members will play from the “longer” teeing area (example:  3 white and 1 green tee players on a team.  The green tee player will move back and play from the white tees).

Rule of 80 - A player who reaches the age of 70 during that calendar year (12/31) and whose age added to their handicap index exceeds 80 is eligible to play from the tee area of their choice (blue, white, green, green/red and red).
